no Drama with Obama

I know I've been gone from the Blogiverse for a couple days and I truly apologize because of it.. But anyways, lets get right into it..

I woke up 15 minutes past 11 today.. I'm not due at work until 6.. So what was the reason for waking up so early? I wanted to catch a glimpse of our new president.. Mr. Barack Hussein Obama.. Before I go on, I just want to say that the new sidekick better recognize the word Barack and Obama.. I don't want to see any red lines under those two words when I type them.. Because I will be typing them a lot.. Hopefully for the next 8 years [-8 .. I know throughout the last 5-6 months, all the world has been hearing about was Obama, and I'm pretty sure people are ready to go on with their lives.. Like ok he won, its over now.. I was the same way, but I realized that its not over.. It has just begun.. The task to restore the United States of America is now underway.. So there was Obama, completely poised, exuding confidence as usual, ready to take on the task ahead of him.. Its not an east task.. This country isn't what it was 8 years ago.. And his words were eccentric, but we shall see if he's up to the task of doing what he promised.. His plate is full.. Ongoing wars, a failing economy, a health care system that is completely flawed (I personally know this.. Owing over 1000 dollars), and global warming.. He promised he would fix all of this, lets see if he can keep it.. I think he can though, I have confidence in him.. What I found most intriguing ab out this whole day was when I found out that right after he took the oath and said his speech and all that good stuff, instead of parlaying(if that's a word) and getting ready for the parade, he instead went to the oval office and got to work (hopefully signing the documents necessary to close Guantanamo Bay).. I wish my mother was alive to see this. I remember when she went to vote, she let me pull the lever to the side.. Her favorite president was John F. Kennedy.. And if anyone studied Kennedy, Barack Obama and him are very similar.. So I'm sure she would love him..
President Obama, America is behind you.. Please do not fail us.. Ahh I love saying President instead of President-Elect lol.. And as I'm writing this, George W. Bush is heading back to the Texas Ranch.. Never to been seen working in the White House again.. God bless America
