Has anyone noticed my middle of the night blogging habits? I don't know why, but it seems the middle of the night is when I get my thoughts together best.. I was actually sleeping for a little while then woke back up, no I can't go back to sleep, so I decided to blog.. Anyways, I think I mentioned in my previous blog that I was going to start telling you more of myself (if I didn't, I meant to). So with that said, I'd like to share my view on music.. For those that don't know me, hip-hop is my anti-drug.. After Pooty of course.. But yes, I am a huge hip-hop fan.. More specifically East Coast.. Even more specific then that, New York.. If you wanna dig deeper, Queens rapper.. If you must know, im a huge Nas fan.. Although I can't say he was the reason I started listening to rap (Juvenile was.. Weird? I know), his music is a reason why I am the way I am.. Quiet amongst strangers but very open amongst my peers.. Kinda like his music.. Don't understand, I'll explain.. For a stranger who doesn't know his music, when they first hear it, they acknowledge the music as good, but nothing more.. Because they aren't really listening.. Until they actually start to listen.. And then that opens up another world.. Just as I am..
Another favorite rapper of mine is Lupe Fiasco.. I dunno, dude just rocks.. Very intelligent, high energy, super lyrical.. He's a beast..
Speakin of super lyrical, Pun!!!.. My man Pun was nasty.. Anybody who thinks otherwise should go listen to country music right now or try stopping an amtrak with their head (thanks Millz)..
So Nas, Lupe, Big Pun.. My top 3.. Don't agree? Sucks for you..
That was just so you can know me a little better.. Get a better understanding.. Oh, and if you want me to love you indefinately, just buy me any CD from either of those 3.. Or concert tickets.. Either or is fine..
